In 1983 Cara started her own engineering firm with her husband and covered all aspects of the business; ordering, wages, debtors, creditors, invoicing, outstanding payments and bookkeeping up to trial balance. She obtained her B-Cur degree through Unisa in 1999. She was then in a management position in the hospital industry and responsible for all HR functions: Salaries, BEE implementation, Skills Development Services, Customer Satisfaction Programs and Staff Satisfaction Programs. She spent 2 months in London in 2004 on a Cataract Project and in Mauritius on a Management Project. She completed computer courses in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Express as well as the bookkeeping Program Computerized Accounting using Pastel*9 Version 2007. Cara is currently employed by VCA as a bookkeeper. She has been with us since 2009 and is a vital part of our family.
